We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a well established machinery manufacturing client of ours in the Vancouver area.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative drives the customer experience through consistent communication, collaboration and focus on being easy to do business with. The successful candidate is responsible for coordination between attachment and parts sales and all internal departments. This position is critical in helping to provide industry leading solutions for our customers with a focus on service and safety.

Responsibilities:

·Provides customer support via telephone, face to face and email communications. Provides information in a complete, timely and accurate manner.

·Coordinates customer contract pricing, SPA agreements, consignment levels, and yard sale activities.

·Collaborates with IT and Pricing departments to ensure sytline is updated and accurate for pricing and lead time efficiencies.

·Partners with marketing to create promotions and sales activities to generate sales and grow the business.

·Develops continuous process improvements in syteline, best practices, organizational efficiencies and territory manager collaboration.

· Generates department reports with regards to quote win/loss percentage, sales and booking target achievement, lead time reporting and more as needed.

·Collaborates with engineering and product development for training opportunities for the sales and service team.

·Ensures engineering and manufacturing lead times are met through constant communication with internal departments.

·Manages customer master data in business sytstems to ensure complete and accurate master data.

·Makes changes or updates to a customer’s profile or account information

·Keeps records of transactions and update and maintain company databases information.

·Generates reporting on monthly and requested basis for follow up and management review.

·Effectively interacts and participates in continuous process improvement initiatives in regards to service, sales, marketing, and operational efficiency.

·Assesses competitors by analyzing competitor information and trends.

·Adheres to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices.



Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field preferred.

·Ability to make business decisions in a timely and accurate manner.

·Must be able to work and meet deadlines while operating with little to minimal supervision.

·Working experience in Heavy Industry preferred. Light or Construction or Logistics Industry will be considered as well.

·Must be advanced in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

·Outstanding communication in English, both written and verbal capacities.

·Demonstrated ability of providing world class customer service and customer relationship building.

·Knowledge of ERP/CRM solutions; including ability to input and extract data.

·Ability to understand customer issues and provide solutions and resolve customer needs.

·Candidate must be eligible to work full time for any employer in Canada.
