Role: Inside Sales
Location: South Edmonton
Type: Temp to Permanent

Are you an experienced Inside Sales Representative who is experienced with the oil and gas industry? Are you looking to further develop your industry knowledge and skills with a key player in the oil and gas industry? Then keep on reading, this may be the role for you!

This is a very hands-on inside sales role in an industrial environment that requires a high level of customer service.

This is a Monday to Friday role, however, the hours might vary slightly if extra coverage needed, and will require occasional overtime hours.

Role Responsibilities:

* Responsible for answering telephone calls/emails and providing necessary information
and feedback on stocking levels order status, order tracking and order entry.
* Provide alternative products/solutions for out of stock or long lead time items to meet
customer needs.
* Work towards maintaining a 24 hour turnaround time on customer purchase orders and
accurate entry in database
* Ensure a proactive approach and delivery to calling customers, providing them with
information concerning the status of their orders as necessary.
* Maintain up to date and a high level of technical knowledge ensuring that best advice
and technical assistance is provided to customers and team members.
* Responsible for administrative management ensuring that existing processes are
regularly reviewed and recommendations made on process improvements.
* Coach and provide performance feedback and training to team members as necessary.
* Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in business processes to ensure customer
requirements are met efficiently
* Respond to change productively
* Additional duties as required

What Makes You A Great Candidate For This Role:

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in an Inside Sales capacity in an industrial or manufacturing environment. We are seeking individuals that are career minded for internal succession planning as well.

* Able to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
* Proven customer service skills
* A great attitude
* Strong desire and willingness to learn and develop
* Effective communication skills (verbal, written)
* Strong computer skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system
* Previous Supervisory experience would be considered an asset
