We are currently looking for an Institutional Proposal Writer to work a 15 month assignment in our client's Downtown Toronto office, working full time hours and earning a competitive rate of up to $34 per hour. Supporting the company's Asset Management investment teams, as an Institutional Proposal Writer you will be responsible for creating customized sales proposal documents for the department's prospects and clients. This will include but not be limited to:

• Answer, edit, and complete sales proposals, client reports and ad hoc questionnaires with accuracy and by deadline.
• Coordinate all aspects of sales proposal document production process to assure the overall quality meets firm standards
• Research appropriate question responses through supplied databases as well as any other identified sources
• Interact with Compliance and Legal Counsel to review and obtain approvals on all terms of reference relevant to an RFP.
• Act as a the department's resource for all associates involved in sales and marketing activities globally.
• Assist in the maintenance of the proposal databases as required.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a liberal arts, business, or communications focus.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related working experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to interact with all levels of management, including senior executives and portfolio managers.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and project management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to spot inaccurate or inconsistent data.
• An entrepreneurial spirit along with a strong sense of ownership.
• PC proficient, particularly in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
