Our client in North York in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join their busy team on a permanent basis.

Using your previous experience, you will screen applicants based on a number of factors, analyze information, liaise with medical and legal firms to obtain necessary information, provide excellent customer service while liaising with clients, complete assessments for eligibility, and complete client files.

Strong critical thinking skills will be necessary in this role, as part of your responsibilities will include performing risk assessment and making decisions that will directly impact the client base. A strong sense of empathy, high level communication skills, and an attention to details will also be critical.
