Randstad is currently seeking an Intermediate Accountant for a 10 month contract opportunity for a growing client in the media industry! The ideal candidate will come with 2+ years’ of relative experience in professional services. This opportunity is based out of Downtown Toronto and has potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities
• Full cycle accounting (A/R, A/P, deposits, cheques, data entry, etc.)
• Working closely with the accounting manager
• Preparing month end journal entries and general ledgers
• Preparing and processing invoices
• Setting up vendor accounts as needed
• Administrative duties (Filing, scanning, processing payments, issuing invoices etc.)
• Assisting with special projects related to accounting/finance with Accounting Manager
• Assisting with audit preparation as required
• All other related duties


Requirements
• Post-secondary education, specializing in Accounting and or Finance
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• Minimum 2 years of relative experience in professional services
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is a must
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
