The client that specializes in the FinTech space, specifically billings and AR Systems is looking to bring on board a Software Engineer into their corporate headquarters. The ideal candidate needs 3-5 years of software development experience and need to be willing to learn Ruby on Rails.

-Develop high performing applications with simple, clean, efficient, maintainable code
-Use best practice like: TDD, BDD, continuous integration
-Participate in Agile Scrum development process and daily standups
-Work collaboratively with functional managers
-Have a passion for technology in all its forms - enjoy change and rapid development
-Be a talent multiplier that helps the team around you to excel
-Contribute to a company-wide culture of customer success

-3+ years of software development experience, and willing to learn Ruby on Rails full-stack development
-Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline is required
-Firm grasp of Object Oriented analysis and design and TDD
-Firm understanding of AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies
-Strong database skills in SQL and NoSQL structures (MySQL is desirable)
-Knowledge and experience interfacing with various ERP systems
-Experience in Elastic search services
-Experience building large-scale ETL process
-Previous experience building and consuming complex APIs
-Experience in advanced application security
-Prior experience working in the payments/FinTech industry - PCI/DSS is an asset
