Our downtown client (a world-leading provider of financial software with a global presence) is looking for a permanent senior IT Support Engineer to support all facets of their technology as their operations expand. The ideal candidate for the IT Support Engineer role will possess superior client-facing communication skills and have at least 5 years' experience working in a similar role and the desire to become a Team Lead as part of their career progression.

The IT Support Engineer will provide support to our many users and clients on a variety of windows-based systems and network-related issues.

Must be willing and able to travel to client and employer offices 10% of the time.


Must Have Skills:
Deep troubleshooting of OS (Windows and Server OS) - (>5Y)
Automated deployment of Windows OS (MDS & WDS) - (>5Y)
Review and recommend patch management (WSUS) - (>5Y)
User management (Active Directory, File services) - (>5Y)
Troubleshoot/Enhance networks-DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP etc - (>5Y)
Enhance/Optimize backup & imaging systems - (>5Y)
Client-facing communication skills - (>5Y)
Issue tracking SW - e.g. Jira, Sharepoint, Test Track etc - (>5Y)
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills - (>5Y)
10% Travel (including US) - (>5Y)
Bachelors Degree - (>5Y)

Nice To Have Skills:
Linux/ UNIX platforms - (>5Y)
Ability to develop/execute SQL Queries - (>5Y)
Understanding of Scripting/Coding Languages - (>5Y)
Written and verbal Spanish or Portuguese - (>5Y)
