Our client is looking for someone who is a well-rounded Jr Accountant to join their team. Located in the Downtown core, this exciting opportunity offers you a learn and grow environment and you will be a critical part of assisting in the overall growth of the company.

Daily Duties

• Support financial objectives by analyzing revenue variance vs. expectation; apply observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Answer accounting and financial inquiries from cross-functional areas by researching and interpreting data.
• Audit accounting policy to optimize workflows and data integrity.
• Ownership of journals, and reconciling balance sheet related general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
• Ensuring accounts roll up and tie to the financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Assist in annual and statutory audits by preparing and retrieving supporting schedules for our external auditors.
• Other duties as required.


• Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Finance or Business related program.
• Currently enrolled in the CPA considered a plus.
• Exhibit the willingness and ability to learn all aspects of a Digital Media company.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills between all departments.
• Self-starter who can demonstrate an extremely high attention to detail.
• Highly dependable and able to meet multiple deadlines while working independently.
• Advanced knowledge in SAP & Excel.
