Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Legal Clerk to support their contracts department! This is a 12 month contract with possibility for extension in Downtown Toronto.

Pay: $21.64
Shifts: Monday to Friday 9-5

Job Responsibilities of a Legal Clerk:
- Providing advice and guidance on both routine and complex matters
- Drafting contracts
- Working with contract law and demonstrating sound judgement to assist in recommendation of approaches
- Resolving strategic and tactical issues
- Review and revise supplier documentation to conform with terms and conditions
- Working with contract management tool weekly to ensure tracking
- Creating and maintaining correspondence logs for each contract such as formal communications and emails
- Maintain strong accuracy, accessibility and reliability of contract documents, data and information associated with reporting

Qualifications
- Paralegal or Law Clerk certification, LLB or other comparable degree
- Proficient with contract language and contract law
- Proven successful negotiation skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to articulate and negotiate contractual terms and conditions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in Downtown Toronto
