Calling all Legal Administrative professionals with a property management background! We are looking for an experienced (minimum 5 years) legal administrative professional for a permanent opportunity within a large scale asset management company located in Downtown Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing drafts of retail and office leases, amending agreements, and routine correspondence. Support for the implementation and organization of special projects will be required as well. Other responsibilities will be data entry and electronic file maintenance, tracking fees and timelines, and other administrative duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of previous experience in a legal department or law firm and have a strong background in commercial leases, sophisticated word processing and communication skills, as well as naturally deadline-driven and able to multitask under pressure. The candidate must be tech savvy, as working knowledge or willingness to learn aspects of VTS, Serengeti and Yardi will be required. Previous experience with Propidex is a must.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have the following:

• Over 5 years of administrative experience in a legal setting, with experience in generating lease documentation being a must
• MUST HAVE experience drafting and amending lease agreements
• Property management and commercial leases experience is a must
• Working knowledge of Propidex is a MUST, previous experience with VTS, Serengeti, and/or Yardi is a strong asset
• Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• 10/10 written and verbal communication skills
• Natural ability to prioritize, work under high pressure, and operate independently with minimal supervision
