Do you have at least 2 years experience as a corporate law legal assistant, or as a corporate securities legal assistant?
Are you familiar with timelines for submission to Canadian and American regulatory bodies? Do you have experience filing with SEDAR, SETI, or through NUANS? Do you have direct experience with dealer exemptions, ITAE, and ITE? Do you work well as part of a team? Do you want to work somewhere you are treated with respect and as an equal? This role may be for you!

what you bring to the table

• 2+ years experience as a Securities Legal Assistant, or experience as a Corporate Legal Assistant
• high energy with a positive attitude
• strong client relations, follow up skills, and attention to detail
• experience in securities is an nice to have

what you will do

• review/edit documents (correspondence, agreements, letters, black-lining, etc.)
• manage a team calendar
• organize and track timelines for submissions to regulatory bodies in various provinces
• organize physical and electronic files
• assist with transactional closes
• assist with bilings
• work directly with clients to resolve issues
