In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Assessing of long term disability claims including the identification, and analysis of medical, contractual, and eligibility information
• Developing of case management plans
• Communicating/consulting with claimants, internal/external providers and government agencies
• Providing technical direction by reviewing and identifying file development needs

Working in multidisciplinary team, you will be encouraged to ask any questions you have and continue to learn from your team mates throughout the position.

12 month contract – strong potential to go permanent after the contract ends (they do not want to loose good performers)

Previous disability management experience
Must have a degree within health science field (i.e.physical therapy, occupational therapy, kinesiology, massage therapy)
Sound knowledge of medical terminology, medical management or pharmacology Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills
Loves to work in an office based environment
