Millwright/ Machine Builder Richmond Hill- DAY shift

Are you a licensed Millwright with strong machine building experience looking for an opportunity to work in a state of the art facility on a straight day shift? Are you looking for a position where you are a valued member of the team and where you can have a strong impact on the success of the business?

Hiring for a full time permanent position in Richmond Hill

Responsibilities in the role:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, pneumatic & hydraulic schematics
- Manufacture parts according to drawings and/or specifications
- Assemble / Fit fabricated components, sub-components, frames, conveyors, robotic cells, etc. as per drawings, specifications, instructions, and technical manuals
- Install, examine, troubleshoot, replace or repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies,
- Assist in the installation of cable trays, conduit pipe and wire pulling for electrical systems
- Install brackets and hangers to support mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical equipment
- Test operation of equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of the system, following installation, replacement or repair
- Install equipment at customer facilities and trial run same as required
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plant production equipment and machinery as well as facility systems

Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Millwright, Red Seal 433-A, or minimum 5 years equivalent work experience, preferably within a conveyor/custom equipment manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand fabrication drawings, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuit diagrams
- Experience with general fabrication processes
- Some familiarity with electrical circuit diagrams
- Forklift certificate is an asset
- Overhead crane experience/certification is an asset
- Scissor Lift training/certification is an asset
