Are you a Maintenance Manager who is interested in working for an incredible organization in the Guelph area?

In this role, the Maintenance Manager provides leadership and direction to the tooling, machine build, maintenance, electrical, building and design departments to ensure that tooling and equipment are properly built and maintained. This position is responsible for developing and coordinating plans and budgets to ensure adequate manpower, equipment and supplies are available to maintain plant production capacity.

Specific responsibilities would include:
- Direct and coordinate the tooling, machine build, maintenance, electrical, building and design departments to maintain and support production
- Drive Continuous Improvement activities
- Clarify plans, goals, and objectives
- Establish & track indicators as established through policy deployment. Implement corrective actions as necessary
- Direct and supervise a highly skilled staff
- Assess manpower needs, expense and capital budgets to support production requirements
- Establish policies and programs to ensure a trained, competent and motivated work force

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 10+ years of maintenance management background in a manufacturing organization
- Experience working in a metal manufacturing environment
- Post secondary education in the Engineering field or technical trade Certificate of Qualification
- In depth understanding of manufacturing operations and methods associated with the repetitive production, processing, and assembly of high volume close tolerance metal parts.
- Previous experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and Lifecycle Asset Management.
- Strong communication skills, and able to influence all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)
