Maintenance Manager

Our client just north of London Ontario is currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team for the day shift as a full-time permanent employment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great organization!

Responsibilities:
• Manage work order system priorities and assign work as required
• Ensure all work being performed is monitored to be cost effective
• Liaison between Production, Maintenance, Engineering and administration departments
• Purchases all maintenance materials within the established budget
• Maintaining maintenance budgets, responsible for shift discipline and employee motivation
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are of the required standard and that procedures are in place to prevent fraud and safety issues.
• Supports in the maintenance of high standard of sanitation, housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the process facilities and connecting grounds, managing the work of all maintenance personnel
• Conveys out various improvements at the request of users relating to productivity, quality and health and safety
• Oversees and motivates a team through pre-emptive communications, employee involvement and participation
• Individual feedback and appraisal, application of policies and sound employee relations practices

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or Technical field, Millwright certification is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and leadership role
• Experience in instrumentation, robots and controls
• Improving functionality and reliability of all production and facility equipment
• Experience with MSOffice applications
