Our prestigious Toronto client, in the healthcare industry, needs to hire a senior Applications Manager, starting in September, to lead a team in multiple application development projects. We are looking for a seasoned professional with the following credentials:

• Proven minimum 5 years of health care management experience, in particular with system implementation, operations and integration development in the Information Technology operations environment.
• Undergraduate degree or certification in Health Information Technology or Computer Science required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an acute care environment with in-depth knowledge of health care business, clinical and application workflows, data integration and development, process design and IT operations.
• Demonstrated skills in managing complex business and clinical information system projects and managing large scale, multi-site operations.
• Proven knowledge, experience and application of project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all level of staff.
• Proven strong change management skills and process improvement experiences.
• Detail oriented, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent organization skills, demonstrated effectiveness and efficiencies in managing priorities, workloads and business plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in resource management and utilization.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and proven effective presentation skills to all level of staff.
• Ability to multi-task with a high degree of focus and to maintain timelines and budget.
• Proven strong budget and finance management skills.
• Demonstrated high level of creativity, resourcefulness and self-direction.
• Function within a 7/24 environment and be on-call during off hours.
