Are you a seasonal shipper/receiver or material handler? We have a permanent dayshift opportunity in Cambridge for the right candidate


What will you be doing as a material coordinator

- complete paperwork and ship packages domestically and internationally, ensuring full compliance to internal and external procedures
- daily interaction with ERP system to transact incoming and outgoing material and finished goods
- direct workflow in packaging department to ensure shipments are ready to leave by requested date
- work closely with other departments to ensure they are adequately fed with necessary material and parts
- complete kitting of parts for units in assembly and deliver to cell on demand
- maintain shipping materials inventory
- pull stock and organize packages as required
- document transactions and flow of controlled goods to and from stock area
- general housekeeping tasks within the shipping/receiving area

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a shipper/receiver and/or material handler in a manufacturing setting
- experience working with ER and MRP systems for shipping and receiving functions
- high attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- experience preparing international shipments including customs document (NAFTA, Commercial Invoice, B13)
- experience working with couriers and their respective software
- knowledge of Microsoft Office
- forklift certified
- overhead crane certified is an asset
- post secondary education is an asset
- valid driver's license
- excellent customer service skills
