Materials Master Data Specialist - Kitchener/Waterloo - 6-month Contract - Information Management Company

Looking to add a Master Data Specialist onto our Data Governance Team out in Kitchener Waterloo on a 6-month renewable contract with the opportunity to go full-time.

Responsibilities:
- In this role, you'll be responsible for data quality, and how master data quality affects the business
- Ensure data accuracy
- Identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis
- Manage tickets from start to finish

What you need:
- Ideally a Bachelors Degree in Math, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Minimum of 1 year of experience handling data
- Ideally looking for someone who has worked with SAP or possesses very strong Excel skills
- Someone who has analytics experience, someone who can think ahead and understand how changes will impact the system

Who you are:
- An eye for detail
- You are able to take a request and understand how to manage it
- Someone with materials master data would be a strong nice to have
- You understand computers and how to use them for more than administrative tasks.
