Do you like to use hand tools? Do you have a construction background, or have experience with Mechanical Assembly tasks? We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers in Cambridge - this role will be either full time, or temporary to hire, depending on your skill set.

What will you be doing as a mechanical assembler?

- assembling sheet metal
- working from blueprints
- understanding welding symbols
- working to assemble a variety of sized product
- working with a large team to accomplish a common goal
- lifting up to 50 lbs
- using hand tools such as drills, wrenches
- working with minimal supervision
- paying strict attention to health & safety policies

- $18 hourly to start + shift premium of $1.50 for afternoon shift
- straight shift- 3:30pm-midnight Monday to Friday
- referral bonus of $400
- tuition reimbursement for certain programs
- RRSP after 1 year
- no shut down periods or vacation blackout periods
- high potential program for high potential employees
- benefits after 3 months

- previous mechanical assembly experience is ideal
- relatively clear criminal background check
- able to train on day shift and then move to afternoon shift
- strong work ethic and attendance is mandatory
- able to handle competing priorities
- able to work unsupervised in a fast paced environment
- ideally you are able to work overtime as required
- must possess reliable transportation
