Your role:

As a member of the engineering team in charge of fleet management of CC150 aircraft, the candidate will be mandated to provide support for aircraft under maintenance as well as for modifications requested by the customer in the various spheres. structures, systems and interiors, including, but not limited to:
Design of composite, metal, or other structures (including cabin requirements);
Design for repairs and modifications to structures, systems and interiors;
Computer-assisted design with CATIA V6 software (3DExperience);
Liaison work with manufacturers or sellers.

Your responsibilities:

Provide support for Polaris Aircraft Operations and Maintenance;
Provide proposals and design modification solutions (indoors, paint, systems, structure) to configure aircraft to meet DND's operational needs;
In special projects: respecting design and product specifications and budgets, maintaining the quality of work and project safety, and ensuring the airworthiness of aeronautical products supported by The company
To design in accordance with the customer's needs, the current civil (FAR, AWM), military (MIL-STD or other) and/or corporate standards, as well as those of safety, environment and ergonomics;
Make manufacturing, modification and retail drawings and Engineering Instructions;
Support the design during the manufacture and installation of the concept;
Conduct technical research to provide results and propose actions to the applicant.
Provide "ad hoc" support for requests from other services (purchases, nomenclature, tools, operations, maintenance, etc.).

Qualifications
French/English bilingualism (oral and written);
The ability to produce and revise drawings to ensure technical accuracy;
Knowledge of the requirements for civil and military certification an asset;
Ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary groups;
Master the REQUIRED CATIA V6 (3DExperience) software;
Minimal knowledge with PLM environment an asset;
Behavioural skills: team player, diplomat, self-reliant, resourceful, organized;
Strong problem-solving skills;
College degree in aeronautics or a related field required;
3 or more years of experience in the following areas: related to structural repairs/modifications, systems and aircraft interior design.

Operational requirements :

Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
Location not accessible via public transportation, car required.
