Our client in the Cambridge area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Designer for a contract position.

In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Design simple and/or complex valves or accessories for customers
- Provide design changes based on modifications to standard products
- Create bills of material for design projects
- Perform design calculations and analyses to ensure product meets specifications

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- Post secondary education in related, technical field
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience
- SolidWorks experience
- Experience in valve/fluid flow design would be ideal
- Flexibility to work a short term contract, with possibility of extension
