Are you one of the rare Millwrights that prefers an evening or night shift? Open to a continental shift schedule?

Randstad has an opportunity with a major food manufacturing company for a skilled Millwright. This Brampton based position will be on a straight night shift and offers some good perks such as;

As the night shift Millwright you will be responsible for the follow;

- Electro-mechanical troubleshoot, repair and maintain of conveyor systems, packaging machinery, control panels, electrical controls, sensors
- Changing conveyor chains, sprockets, motor replacement, work load is 50% electrical, 50% mechanical
- Tear down and repair of gearboxes, pumps, sprockets
- Repair welding, basic parts fabrication using mechanical press and drill press
- Provide creative solutions on machinery improvements, process improvements and other ways to improve plant operations


What are we looking for?

- 5 or more years as a licensed Millwright (433A) and experience in the industrial sector (manufacturing)
- Cable of conducting electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment
- Thorough understanding of conveyor systems, packaging machinery, ovens, motors, electrical controls
- Repair welding experience, basic fabrication of parts using drill press and mechanical press
- Independent worker that is proactive in identifying machinery issues or areas for improvement
