Are you a Millwright looking for a new opportunity in the Cambridge/Kitchener area? We are looking for Millwrights for an automotive, just in time, environment. This role is ideal for someone who likes to work as a part of a larger team working towards a collective goal.

We are looking for licensed Millwrights on both straight afternoons, and straight nights.

In this role you will be:

-troubleshooting and performing repair work
-continuous improvement work
-interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
-working with servo systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-minor machining duties will apply
-welding to fabricate parts
- installing new machinery

- straight afternoon shift, 2 pm-10 pm Monday to Friday, or straight nights, 10 pm-6 am Monday to Friday
- benefits are negotiable if currently working elsewhere
- pension plan (not many places offer this anymore)
- tool allowance, education reimbursement program (100%) for company approved courses to do with your role

- $36 hourly to start plus$0.50 shift premium when on afternoons and $0.75 on nights
- overtime available

- licensed 433A Millwright
- 2+ years of experience, ideally in the automotive sector
- own vehicle, not on a bus route
- able to provide supervisor references
- strong abilities working with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- posses a working knowledge of custom machine fabrication and installation
- previous experience within an lean manufacturing environment is ideal
- experience working with jigs
- able to fabricate parts using machine shop equipment
