MAINTENANCE MECHANIC- FOOD MANUFACTURING

Are you experienced with maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment? Are you looking for a great company offering training and growth? Check out this full time permanent position located in Concord with a premium manufacturer of bakery products.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair support for plant operations
- Troubleshoot and correct mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic problems
- Repairing malfunctioning equipment (motors, pumps, valves, air and liquid piping, controls, ovens and other machinery)
- Inspect/ removing/ replace/ repair of belts, chains, small motors and gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders

- Rotating Day and Afternoon shift (2 weeks rotation)
- Average of 8-10 hours of Over Time per week
- Independent work (only mechanic on afternoon shift)
- $27-$30/hr to start depending on experience

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years experience in a Millwright position holding a 433a
- Previous experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Hands on experience troubleshooting packaging and material handling equipment
- Proficiency in all hand and power tools including cutting, grinding and brazing
- Capable of basic electric troubleshooting
