The Mortgage Operations and Accounting Department provides administration, accounting and reporting services for mortgage assets originated by the Canadian and US mortgage departments. Reporting to the Supervisor, Mortgage Accounting, the Mortgage Cash Analyst will be accountable for the daily movement of all off balance sheet investor funds.

y Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely transfer of cash between operational bank accounts and borrower individually held bank accounts

• Process trades (investment of funds) in the borrowers individually held bank accounts using Citibank’s OLI (on-line interface) system.

• Prepare weekly and monthly correspondent reports and remit fees as per our contractual obligations

• Prepare and remit funds to 3rd party investors according to our contractual obligations

• Review and process Tax payments

• Prepare e-Treasury forms and solicit sign-off from staff with appropriate signing authority

• Maintain proper records on Mines & Minerals portfolio – leased and unleased properties and royalties

• Review daily work of other ream member for accuracy and completeness

• Work within existing procedures and processes regarding cash handling and adhere to established Sox documentation

• Provide assistance to other team member and management team when required

• Assume any task or special project as required or directed by management

• Post-secondary education required
• 2-year experience in the financial services industry
• Good knowledge of accounting and banking processes
• Excellent mathematical, problem-solving and interpretive skills
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
• Proficient in basic computer software (MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook) with an ability to learn new software/system applications quickly
• Ability to plan, organize & prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Demonstrate integrity and respect
• Knowledge of AML/ATF Reporting Requirements is considered an asset
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Management is considered an asset
