Role Description

As a member of the Operations team, the IT DevOps will be responsible for developing, deploying and
supporting cloud services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure
Development and Server Platforms as well as reporting on environment KPI’s and perform Capacity

Typical Responsibilities but not limited to:

 Design, Deploy, configure and maintain the infrastructure for the hosted SaaS platform.
 Design, Deploy, configure and maintain the infrastructure for the development, QA and staging
 Identify parts of the platform and infrastructure requiring additional monitoring and Design
 Configure and implement monitoring strategies that allow for preemptive corrections.
 Monitor and troubleshoot services running across our infrastructure and Windows Azure
 Automate manual processes such as server and client provisioning, software
 Proactively Identify performance issues and work with Platform, Support and Project teams to
resolve issues
 Develop, document and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
 Attend meetings with other Team to determine operational needs
 Response to incidents outages and security breaches
 Investigate and resolve issues
 Report to management on system capacity, system and security status
 Work with management on capacity and infrastructure planning
 Participate in after-hours/on-call rotations
 Respond to client requests with a sense of urgency
 Other duties as assign by management.

 University Degree or College Certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering or
Information Technology

 Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Azure, IIS, ASP.NET, SQL Server,
Windows Server, PowerShell, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Exchange and SharePoint.
 At least 5 years’ experience administering Microsoft web technologies and Windows Server
 Experience with implementing monitoring tools such as System Center, New Relic, NetIQ, etc.
 Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Octopus, Powershell Scripts, TeamCity
 Experience designing, deploying, networks, administering Firewalls, Routers and Switches

 Experience supporting external clients
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Can do attitude with an aptitude to be part of the solution
