Network Infrastructure Analyst
Location: Halifax NS

Network Infrastructure Analyst plays an integral part in the development, implementation, and compliance of technical security across the enterprise, as well as maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. The analyst is responsible for managing risks related to information security, network security, business continuity planning, crisis management, privacy, and compliance.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline with 3-5 years related experience
• Must have experience with MS Windows, Active Directory, VMware
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
• Excellent prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part
• An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business
• Must be proactive self-starter with a passion for technology, and have the ability to work with little supervision

• LAN switching, WAN routing, unified communications, and video conferencing
• SANS and other Information Security related certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Windows Server, Cisco server hardware, VMware virtualization, Cisco switches/routing, Cisco Enterprise Wireless, Cisco Video Conferencing and unified communications would be an asset.

-Ability to travel 10% is required
