Do you have experience with Nut Forming or Bolt Forming Machinery?

Are you a skilled independent Machinist or Machine Operator that is also mechanically inclined?

If so, Randstad has a rewarding opportunity for you in the Mississauga region. We are seeking an experience Nut Former or Bolt Former Operator to join a growing team ASAP.

As the Nut Former or Bolt Former Operator you will be responsible for the following key duties;

- Operate nut forming machine.
- Moves control to cycle machine through settings, stopping the machine and adjusting to positions and machine controls to allow for operating factors such as timing, and the clearance between moving parts.
- Positions and secures heading wire onto stock feeding mechanism.
- Adjust specific tooling and transfer fingers at each station.
- Start machine, observes the operation and inspects first run and sample work piece to ensure machine conforms to specifications.
- Inspects parts using micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools, to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Reads blueprint or job order for product specification such as dimensions, tolerance, number or parts to be formed and tooling instruction on type tooling required.
- Conduct basic service on the machinery tooling

- Competitive pay rate (start at $27 with automatic increase to $29 after 8 months)

- Prior Nut Former or Bolt Former machinery operation experience
- High School Diploma
- Working experience in fastener manufacturing environment an asset.
- Mechanical Background
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
