Randstad is now looking for an office administrator for a technology company based in beautiful Victoria BC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative duties, including but not limited to being first contact via phone, email and in person, facilities management (office supplies, kitchen management and the like) and other typical administrative tasks;

• General bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to accounts payable, invoicing and accounts receivable in multiple currencies, and preparing financial reports;

• Provide support to the Resource Manager as required, including but not limited to ensuring bi-weekly management of time sheets, data entry, account reconciliations, preparing staff expense reports, petty cash and electronic and physical filing of records;

• Arrange company events, such as office functions and customer visits (including driving the company vehicle);

• Manage hotel and travel reservations

Job Requirements

• Excellent computer skills are required, including electronic file management and a strong ability with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

• Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping principals, and previous experience using Simply Accounting, are assets

• Previous experience with International shipping (FedEx, freight forwarding) is an asset.
