Do you have previous audit or quality control experience, coupled with that in the banking environment? Have you previously working on onboarding or AML related duties. If so we have an excellent opportunity for you! Our client, a globally recognized bank, is looking for an Onboarding Associate - Quality Checker to work a 4 month assignment in their Vancouver office, responsible for reviewing the accuracy and quality of the onboarding departments work, ensuring that it has been done to company standard, as well as answering related questions from the team and providing some administrative support. If successful and hired as an Onboarding Associate - Quality Checker, you will be responsible for the following:

• Supports the quality monitoring and call calibration activities
• Identifies improvement opportunities and suggests solutions, making decisions based on sound rational judgment escalating issues as necessary.
• Operates in accordance with agreed procedures and guidelines.
• Manages assigned tasks knowing when to refer issues as necessary.
• Ensures work is prioritized and processed accurately, organizing workload to ensure timely and efficient completion
• Other related quality control work

• Gain experience working for a leading and globally recognized bank
• Work full time hours on a 6 month assignment
• Flexibility to work anytime between 6:00am - 5:00pm, but must work 1 or 2 Saturdays per month
• Earn a competitive rate of $25.70 per hour
• Vancouver location

• Bachelor’s degree or with equivalent industry/functional experience
• Previous audit or quality check background
• Some business banking background preferred
• Computer literate and ability to work on basic applications like MS Excel, MS Word and Lotus Notes
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Excellent Communication skills in English – written and verbal
• Ability to be flexible and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives.
• Ability to balance quality and quantity (volumes) with primary focus on quality.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving and changing priorities. Procedures change frequently; selected candidates are expected to implement the changes immediately with minimal training.
• Is self-motivated, pragmatic (sense of urgency is a must)
• Previous experience in working for AML/KYC teams is desirable.
