What makes this job great: -Rate of pay starts at $33-$35/ hour plus shift premiums-Straight afternoon shifts available also -Full health and dental benefits after 3 months -Retirement savings plan available from day 1, the company matches up to 4% of your earnings after 6 months-Work located right in Trenton, ON-Opportunity to pick up overtimeWhat you would be responsible for: -Performing repairs & preventive maintenance-Providing technical support and troubleshooting processing equipment -Understanding the setup and tear down processes of equipment-Requisition parts and materials related to maintenance-Operating lathe and milling machine to repair and fabricate parts if needed-Installation and commission of new machinery-Provide training for junior mechanics-Maintain the low-pressure boiler (daily checks and water analysis)-Perform gas, Tig and Arc welding as neededThe skills/ experience required: -Millwright ticket and/or Electrician and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment-Experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and vacuum pumps-Knowledge of Freon and Ammonia refrigeration systems is an asset-Working knowledge of PLC and computerized machinery is an asset-Food industry experience is an asset-Must be able to work in hot and cold/damp environments-Must be health and safety focused-Able to work in the Trenton areaInterested in hearing more about the role?
