Our client is seeking an Intermediate Change Manager consultant on contract for a period of 12 months with possible extension in Edmonton, Alberta.

- The contractor must have extensive experience developing and successfully implementing large scale comprehensive change management plans. As part of a project team (Project Manager, Communication Specialist and a Change Manager), the Change Manager needs to focus both on the technical and people side of change.

-The position needs to bring together the change management and project management to achieve the business objectives of the change. The Change Manager must build and implement plans which foundationaly focus on leadership, project management and change management.

- Key responsibility will be to engage people impacted by the project to ensure they support the change including new processes, systems and role profiles etc.

- The Contract Manager will use change models, change concepts and change management processes to develop and implement the project changes. This could include completing a series of stakeholder assessments.

- The Change Management Plans must include communications, sponsorship roadmap(s), Training, Coaching and Resistance Management plans. The Change Manager will be accountable to work with the business areas to manage the change.

- Lastly the Change Manager will be responsible with the business area to re-inforce the change. The Change Manager must be Change Management certified from a well respected and known institution and have a minimum of 5 years plus experience working on large complex change management projects."
