Randstad Staffing, Canada's #1 Integrated Staffing firm is actively recruiting for a Part-time Business Development Manager in New Brunswick.

This person can be located in New Brunswick in one of Moncton, Fredericton, or Saint John. You will provide relationship management principles, techniques, and support to young entrepreneurs relative to their entrepreneurial needs. You will collaborate and foster strong partnerships with key community partners, resulting in new client engagement and loan portfolio growth across New Brunswick.

This is a permanent part-time position, based out of a Satellite Office in either Moncton, Fredericton, or Saint John depending on the selected candidate’s preferred location.

Key objectives of this position include:

Business Development - Entrepreneurs

-Encourage, motivate, and support entrepreneurs to the application stage of the process
-Identify regional marketing vehicles and potential target markets
-Attend and coordinate events that provide opportunities to engage perspective and current entrepreneurs
-Support regional lead on marketing and communication activities
-Manage high potential prospects through addition to client relationship management system and follow-up as required
-Convert from inquiry stage through to application stage through business support services
-Communication with client relationship manager or the entrepreneur in residence to ensure smooth transition of applicant to funding stage
-Create connections to other regional resources available to support pre-launch activities and small business success
-Manage relationships with Community, referral and accelerator partners as well as grow the number of community partners where appropriate

-Can be located in Moncton, Fredericton or Saint John (flexible)

- Ability to be independent

-College diploma or university degree in business administration or related discipline
-3 years of experience in a sales, business development or economic development position
-Bilingual, English/French, is essential to this role

***Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to influence
Strong leadership skills to retain entrepreneurs, community partners, volunteers, and mentors
-Confident, proactive and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
-General administration experience including budget management, report writing, etc.
-40% of this role includes local and provincial travel
-Event planning and execution experience is considered an asset
-Management and volunteer management is considered an asset
-Experience working with entrepreneurs or business start-ups an asset
-Experience with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) considered an asset
-Proficient with computer skills; experience with a Customer Relationship Management system is an asset
