Our client, situated downtown, in the multimedia industry, is looking for a Payroll and Accounting technician

Responsibilities:

(75%)
Making sure all government transactions are treated
Generate reports and weekly payrolls;
Prepare claims for payroll remittances
Respond to requests for payroll information from businesses and third party entities (government, unions etc);
Trackinng government statements of accounts (federal and provincial);

Accounting services (25%)
Analyse certain balance sheet accounts including payroll;
Perform various accounting entries;
Prepare several quantitative reports (monthly, quaterly, annual) for internal & external clients (eg: government statistics, bank reconciliations, audit files)
Validate and confirm financial data for the preparation of tax returns



Profile
BAC ou DEC in accounting
SPC certified (not a must)
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role;
Knowledge of Excel, (pivots, vlookups, formulas);
Knowledge of Peoplesoft (an asset);
Autonomous, organised, team player, can adapt quickly to changes;
Good analysis and able to prioritize
Bilingual English and French
