Job title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent
Salary: 45-55K + benefits
Schedule: 35 hours

The tasks of the payroll clerk will be the following:

- Processing new hires by ensuring their paid properly, verifying the accuracy of data entries, following up on outstanding information, etc.;
- General data entry and upkeep if payroll data using the payroll system;
- Supporting with termination of employment processes, such as: processing ROEs, vacation payout, last-pay verifications;
- Processing various reports for auditing pay;
- Assisting with year-end processes, such as: T4 and Releve1 distribution, auditing payroll. managing change of addresses, etc.;
- Responding to employees’ payroll inquiries, by phone and email;
- Processing required government requests;
- Investigating and taking corrective action regarding errors or warnings related to payroll matters;
- Other tasks and projects as assigned.

- 2 years of experience with payroll
- Great customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of payroll systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
