Our client is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their growing department. This is an opportunity to work with an organization that really values their employees and offers a fantastic benefits package, along with a competitive salary.

As part of the Quality Assurance team you will help to plan, estimate and execute test plans for releases, including all related reporting of test activities.

Responsibilities:

- Supporting the test lead in the delivery of test planning, test preparation and test execution activities.
- Participating in peer review of all testing documentation.
- Prioritizing testing tasks based on criticality to the end user and ensure that all testing activities are completed as scheduled.
- Supporting a positive work environment that promotes service to the client partner, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues to the QA Manager.
- Participating in knowledge transfer within the team and other business units.
- Collaborating as an active team member by coaching and mentoring new or less experienced colleagues.
- Facilitating knowledge transfer of existing resources.
- Recommending processes that add efficiency to the current workflows.

Required Experience

- A degree or diploma holder preferably in Computer Science or Software testing or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Four to six years working as a software QA Analyst, creating and executing test plans.
- Experience using testing tools,– preferably Team Foundation Server/ Microsoft Test Manager.
- Experience writing SQL statements, as well as experience in testing the ETL process.
- Experience in testing Data Quality in a Data Warehouse.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong judgment, creativity, problem-solving and analytical skills with a deep knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- An ability to learn and build expertise around new tools, processes and business applications.
- Highly organized with a dynamic ability to adapt and adjust to new and changing situations.
