Production Supervisor/Manager

Edmonton, Alberta

Our client, a leader in the integrated energy services, is looking to fill a permanent Production Supervisor/Manager role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality and quantity of product produced in the plant and the safe and efficient operation of the plant. They will provide and enforce a safe and healthy working condition for all employees in accordance with legislative requirements. It is essential the candidate has the ability to manage maintenance, raw material and scheduling problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise subordinates by checking product in all stages of production in order to maintain a high standard of quality and quantity in accordance with ISO and Company requirements

Ensures equipment is safe and efficient in order to produce expected quality and quantity of product

Trains all employees in the safe and efficient performance of their duties

Ensure compliance with applicable OHS regulations

Prepares daily reports and employee payroll

Ensures a continuous flow of expected productivity

Investigates all incidents and accidents and report findings

Enforces all safety , quality and employment rules, practices and procedures


Required Qualifications

College Degree in a relevant field

2-5 years of experience

Knowledge and experience in pipe coating and linings and manufacturing

Strong math competencies
