Do you have management/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment? Have you worked in Electromechanical Assembly?

Our client in Guelph has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Production Leader to join their team! As a Production Leader, you would be a key leader in the Electro-Mechanical Assembly department.

In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Coordinate and schedule the activities of associates through the assembly, inspection and testing of electro-mechanical product lines.
- Establish methods to meet production schedules and coordinate work with other departments.
- Resolve production issues and recommend measures to improve productivity.
- Mentor and train associates on assembly techniques, job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Monitor material requirements for production demands to communicate needs to upstream process owners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote lean manufacturing principles.
- Adhere strictly to operational procedures to provide precise and timely SAP ERP data inputs for all material transactions.
- Report on departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify and coordinate corrective actions accordingly to meet corporate goals.

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of Management/Supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience working with electro-mechanical/electrical assembly or inspection
- Understanding and experience with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
- Post secondary education in Engineering field would be preferred
- Strong desire and ability to mentor associates for quality and productive daily work through skill development
- Excellent communication skills.
