Job title: Production Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Establish and optimize the inter-department and inner-department management system. Ensure the department is operating efficiently.
2. Establish job descriptions and responsibilities for the personnel of the Production Department.
3. Develop, optimize and supervise the policy and procedures for each operation of the department.
4. Prepare training sessions for employees of the department. Schedule and conduct trainings and verify the training results.
5. Establish standards for employee performance and evaluate the employees based on the standards.
6. Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly production plans to fill the orders the and coordinates the plans with other departments through operation.
7. Prepare the budget for the department and control the operation cost. Optimize the process cost by improving the efficiency.
8. Communicate with customers, inspectors and vendors when required.
9. Develop and maintain the records for the Department. Make sure the records are complete, current and compliant to the regulatory requirements.
10. Take parts in setting up annual goals of the company.
11. Responsible for personnel management of the Department, including promotion, recruiting and laying-off.
12. On site supervision for operations procedures. Ensure that the food safety and work safety standards are strictly followed by all personnel on the floor.
13. Schedule, supervise and verify installation, repair and preventive maintenance of premises and equipment.


Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Post high school education is required.
2. Minimum 3-year Production Management related experience.
3. Minimum 5-year experience in a food processing environment, preferred
4. Familiar with food safety and work safety requirements.
5. Fluent in English and Mandarin. Cantonese and other languages are assets.
6. Familiar with Microsoft office. Experience with inventory software is an asset
7. PR or Canadian citizen.
8. Able to carry 50 lb when required.
9. First aid and forklift certificate are assets.
