What will you be doing in this role?

This is an exciting position in Woodbridge for an ambitious professional who wants manage teams up to 40 people overseeing production schedule, quality, health and safety and equipment preventive maintenance.
The Production Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all areas of production. The Production Supervisor will manage the Afternoon shift implementing lean manufacture principles and driving employees and metrics accordantly companies expectations.

• Follow up with lead hands regarding employees performance and process optimizations.
• Develops and implements specific policies, objectives and teams in support of strategic goals to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Ensure that employees are aware of health and safety policies and procedures. Correct unsafe behaviours immediately.
• Provides recommendations to the Plant Manager on improvements and concerns with current quality based on quality reports received from lead hands and quality manager.
• Analyzing downtime of equipment as reported by lead hand and Work with engineering to schedule machine repairs/maintenance required during working hours.
• Reviews operations daily and initiates action as required to meet financial, operational and growth objectives.
• Working hours from 2:30 to 11:00 pm

What do you bring to the role?
• 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills
• Must have experience with Lean manufacturing process (Kaizen, six sigma)
• Resulted oriented

Compensation package
• Salary range $70 to $80k based on experience
• Medical and Dental
• 3 weeks vacation
• Bonus
