Due to growth and adding new lines we are currently hiring two Production Supervisors for continental 12 hour night shifts

salary $75K benefits and pension


1. Provide production supervision on shift. Help to prioritize work schedules and ensure appropriate production breakdowns are dealt with. Work through work assignments for the shift.
2. Accountable for manufacturing metrics for their shift.
3. Manage shop floor performance
4. Accountable for the health and safety of employees and ensure compliance with all established Health & Safety rules/regulations and the Occupational Health & Safety Act
5. Conduct required audits as necessary – SOP, safety, 5S, Process etc…
6. Conduct regular employee communication meetings on shift.
7. Track training for all hourly employees on shift
8. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process and quality system. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
9. Ensure production flow of processes by reducing/eliminating bottlenecks on a shift by shift basis.

• Post Secondary education
• 5 plus years experience supervising in a unionized /non unionized manufacturing environment
• Automotive experience is an asset
• Previous shift work experience is an asset
• Microsoft Office – excel, word, ppt
• Strong communication skills – written and spoken
