We have a great opportunity to join the team at a busy metal production plant as a Production Worker, operating a punch press and assembling frames. This is a permanent opportunity, located in south east Calgary.

Training will be given on the specific machines used in the production facility, but we are looking for candidates who are mechanically inclined, and can demonstrate that they have an aptitude for production work.

The duties will include:
* Unloading the materials and moving them to the storage area
* Reviewing the order to identify the required size, then accurately measuring and marking up the metal
* Using a punch press and notching machine to cut and prepare the metal
* Assembling the metal into the frame shape using hand tools such as a hammer

Experience you will need:
* At least 6 months experience as a Production Worker
* Experience operating a punch press is an asset
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
* A positive attitude, ready to work in a team as well as independently

* Permanent position, with benefits included after your probation period
* Day shift, 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
* Pay is $15.22 an hour, increasing to $15.76 after probation
* Transit accessible location in south east Calgary
* Parking available
