Our client, located in Mississauga, is looking for a Business Project Manager

The Project Manager will be working on a new project coming up, where he/ she will have to work on creating entire Project Plan, project Charter and scope by working closely with other team members, in order to understand the key requirements. The Project Manager will play an integral role in begin of the project, being accountable for a successful project plan.

Responsibilities for the Project Manager role:

· General project management duties and responsibilities, like project planning, scheduling, creating project charter and scope etc.
· Defining and documenting the objectives of the project
· Preparing or creating and charts, and/ or diagrams or creating any functional design of the project
· Conducting meetings with business and operational and other team members involved in the project

Skills and Experience required for this role:

· 6+ years of Project Management experience
· Strong ability to understand and analyze business needs
· Plan and execute the complete project
· Experience with project plan, process design and implementation experience
· Relationship building, Change Management, Operations experience
· Responsible for detailed project plan- including project financial planning, project risk assessment, any project issues etc.
· Work within cross functional teams of business, and operational environment
· Reports progress of the projects on the ongoing basis
· Attend daily, weekly meetings with team members, business users, stakeholders, operational teams etc.
· Experience with any of the PM tools: MS project, MS Visio or related tools
· Experience successfully applying Business Process Management, Six Sigma, or Lean concepts.
· Experience managing eCommerce and Retail projects will be a HUGE PLUS
· Ability and experience to manage and work closely with stakeholders
· Strong in scope management, resource allocation and utilization, time management
· Highly skilled and experienced in commitment and accountability of tasks
· You must be comfortable working in team environment as well as independently
· Possess strong communication skills- both verbal and written
