ole description:
The interoperability program is seeking the support of a Project Manager to help in the coordination activities for Ticket Management solution. Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Summary of tasks:
Responsible for coordination and completion of medium complexity projects
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on several years of experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Negotiates changes in scope, budget or calendar with Project Owner and/or management.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Negotiates changes in scope, budget or calendar with Project Owner and/or management.
Able to blend in an in-flight project and quickly take ownership of critical path items
Able to work in matrix environment and optimise resource usage
Capability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Knowledge of SOA and HPSM is an advantage
Mandatory skills:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Management ideally in IT/transportation sector.
Experience managing complex projects in large organizations.
Intermediate to expert skill with MS project.
PMP Certification.
PCT or railroad experience an Asset
Bilingual preferred (English spoken and written mandatory).
Soft skills : good communication skills, result oriented
