We are looking for a strong Project Manager to provide overall support for the Construction Projects within the City of Fort Murray.

Your new company
You will be working in a positive environment for a large construction company that covers a wide range of projects, highway maintenance, civil works; as they are involved with multiple major projects across Canada.

Your new role
Working as a part of a team, you will be liaising with clients, crews, and sub-trades to determine best work practices, as well as financial needs to complete the project. Having a background in heavy civil construction, supervision, establishing construction schedules, preparing progress billings, as well as the implementation of the Safety Management Guide and project safety plans, will go a long way. You must be able to push projects to meet deadlines and be willing to put in the work where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
* Project Management and Costing skills
* Supervisory and strong communication skills
* Have site inspection for tender and or post-tender understanding
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
* Hard Dollar, Heavy Bid/Job, Blue Beam, Microsoft D365 F&O and Viewpoint software skills is an asset
* CET, Construction Project Management Degree, EIT, or Professional Engineer preferred; however, a combination of relevant education and heavy construction experience will be considered
* Minimum 5 to 10 + years of relevant experience.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or intent to pursue it is an asset
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
