We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join this dynamic and ever evolving environment. Focus is on purchasing raw materials for custom production.
In this role you will be responsible for…
• Vendor sourcing, negotiation and management
• Continuous improvement initiatives
• Inventory control and analysis

• 3+ years in a Procurement leadership role
• Experience in a BOM and high SKU environment
• Project Management background will be an asset
• Understanding of automotive components would be an asset
• Must be comfortable with both tactical and strategic aspects of the role - hands on!
• Highly organized and able to delegate effectively
• Creative and innovative - able to analyze and build strategy for process improvement
• High level of communication is required - strong listening skills
• Must be a quick study and able to ramp up quickly
• Needs to work hard but there must be a level of natural talent present
• Humble and diplomatic - don't try to take the room over - be consultative
• Able to gain the respect of the team and help with the workload
• Candidates who show strong progression in their careers will be prioritized
