We are currently accepting applications for a Purchasing Supervisor for a well-established engineering/manufacturing company in South-East Edmonton. This roll will be responsible for overseeing the work of a small procurement team as well as performing the day-to-day tasks of procurement as required. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a quickly expanding company that has a large vision for the future.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be someone looking to advance their career with a leadership opportunity while also being willing to participate and contribute to the day-to-day tasks of the team. They will bring a "get it done" attitude and a friendly but professional demeanor. They will also posses:
- SMP or SCMP designation
- 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- supervisory experience or a natural aptitude for leadership and the desire to develop this part of you skill set
- impeccable time management skills
- a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- experience in using Great Plains or SAP software
- the ability to communicate precisely in the English language
