Our client if looking to hire QA for a 6 months contract position located in Mississauga.

Please see below details:

Skills and Education Required:
„« 10+ years of IT related experience
„« 5+ years QA experience
„« 5+ experience and proven track record with automated regression test tools and building and maintaining the automated test scripts
„« Proven history or writing and maintaining test cases, test plans and test scripts
„« Excellent comprehension of QA process and methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
„« Excellent knowledge in MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel and Visio.
„« Highly experienced with JIRA, SOAPUI, Selenium, UIPATH, SQL
„« Experienced in AGILE Process and Methodology
„« Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other closely related field
„« Very good analytical skills in extracting logical requirements from discussion/meetings with business unit team members
„« Highly developed organizational & interpersonal skills including the ability to solicit cooperation and resolve conflict
„« Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with team members, support teams, business teams, and managers as needed in day-to-day duties
„« Programming skills would be desirable

Project Deliverables:
„« Lead and/or facilitate the development of the project test strategy and test plan
„« Create test cases and supporting test data
„« Perform test design for assigned elements in the test plan
„« Ensure test design for meets quality objectives as set out in the project test plan
„« Establish test data repositories for system testing efforts
„« Oversee the test design, test case and data creation processes
„« Update and maintain regression tests and design new regression tests suites
„« Conduct or monitor other specialized tests
„« Timely completion and prescribed reporting of test results
„« Oversee defect summary reporting and tracking to resolution for the project
„« Coordinate testing activities UAT and CAT defect resolution in conjunction with the Project Manager/Business Analyst
„« Analyze project defect trends and publish report including recommendations for improvement
„« Act as QA team leader directing other QA Analysts during project initiatives
„« Provide QA expertise in all development projects, from initiation to implementation
„« May interact with other departments and third parties to facilitate cross-group testing efforts including integrated test design
