Position: Quality Control Technician - Night
Location: Lachine, Montreal
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hour shift: 7:00pm to 7:00am - 2-2-3 SYSTEM
Salary: $ 15.00 - $ 17.00 / hour, depending on experience

We are currently looking for a quality control technician to work on thee night shift for our factory in Lachine, Montreal.

Your role will be to assist all operations of the Quality Assurance department and collaborate with each department to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Your daily tasks will consist of using the ERP system, auditing all production lines, and auditing the finished product using AQL inspections.

We are looking for someone who is thorough and has knowledge of manufacturing systems (mechanical aspect).

Some tasks you will be responsible for:

- Audit all production lines against applicable quality requirements.
- Perform audits of the finished product and report the results to production.
- Sample and perform quality checks during production and qualification cycles.
- Read and understand the drawings and data sheets.
- Communicate quality issues to management and supervisor.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment if necessary.
- Use the ERP system to print quality reports and barcode labels as needed.
- Must follow and apply policies regarding health and safety, quality, and GMP

Qualifications
- Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) (Preferable)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in quality control
