Our client in the Automotive Industry in Guelph has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Quality Engineer to join their team!

In this role, responsibilities would include:
- Serve as main quality contact for OEM Customers
- Lead problem solving teams to identify root cause(s) of product non-conformances and corresponding corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and present Quality Reports to customers, as required.
- Coordinate timely implementation of engineering changes.
- Support Quality Engineering efforts for timely and effective new product introduction.
- Data collection and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead efforts to continually improve processes and products for internal and external customers.

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role
- 5+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry
- Mechanical or Electrical engineering Degree, or Degree in related field
- Strong competencies in: APQP, PFMEA's, PPAP's
- Project Management experience would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis and Continual Improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience dealing with customers in regards to product quality issues.
- Auditing experience
